What is settled
It will be a one-time purchase for a macOS app that runs entirely on your own machine, not a subscription to a service that holds your recordings. There is no account to create and no upload step, so there is no ongoing cost on this side to pass on to you.
What is not settled
The number, and whether there is a free tier alongside it. Both get decided nearer a real release rather than guessed at now. When there is a price, it will appear here before it appears in the app.
